The aim of the project was to build a macroeconomic model for Montenegro that can be used for economic projections and maintenance of economic policies. That was the first macroeconomic model ever done for Montenegro. It was based on the model for GDP projections previously created by ISSP . The model was developed by ISSP team in cooperation with the Economic Institute of the Law Faculty in Ljubljana, (Slovenia) for the needs of the Montenegrin Central Bank.
