RELOAD2 RESEARCH AND ASSESSMENT OF THE LOCAL POLICIES PERTAINING TO YOUTH AND YOUTH PERCEPTIONS/NEEDS IN 15 LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENTS (LSGS)

The main objective of this assignment is conducting of research and assessment of the local policies pertaining to youth and of youth perceptions/needs in the selected 15 municipalities (5 selected partner clusters of LSGs). Research will provide: Broad overview of youth policy in each of the selected LSGs, Detailed information – findings and recommendations regarding youth needs/perceptions in each of the selected LSGs, Validation of the findings in the area of youth policy and youth needs/perceptions in the each of the targeted local governments with respect to the different aspects and areas such as: education, employment, free time, youth services, youth participation, etc, Assessment of the needs of socially excluded youth, youth with disabilities, youth belonging to minority groups, dropouts from the education system, NEETs, Gender disaggregation of all data throughout analysis in support to findings and recommendations. The focus of research on youth’s experiences, roles and relationships in local communities matched with their identified needs, aspirations and expectations from the system and community will enable that this research and its deliverables provide a valuable basis for developing efficient local youth policy.
