This research, having as a subject the issue of health economics, was completely innovative for Montenegro. Smoking is one of the major factors that influence population’s health in Montenegro. That is why the project goal was to estimate the costs of tobacco use in Montenegro in order to increase awareness of population and provide a good base for policy recommendations. The project was supported by the Global Development Network.
