The Economics Olympiad is the world’s largest and most prestigious international competition designed to ignite the minds of young individuals and empower them with essential economic knowledge and skills. It is open to high school students who are interested in expanding their understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, international trade, and finance. The EO provides a transformative journey through multiple competition stages, including School, Regional, National, and International Rounds.
The EO is structured into several stages to foster healthy competition and identify talented students. It starts with the School Round, followed by the Regional Round, the National Round, and culminates in the International Round. Each stage offers unique challenges and learning opportunities, with the International Round featuring case studies, presentations, and collaborative projects in a global setting.
