The overall objective of the project is to strengthen and empower the role of civil society in Montenegro to promote transparent and participatory governance through effective monitoring and evaluation of the New Growth Plan (GP) implementation, focusing on economic reforms and the energy sector. This is highly relevant to priority of Lot 1: Support to CSOs and CSO networks towards increased abilities to monitor and actively participate in Montenegro’s reform processes and particularly for Lot’s prioritized thematic area: Growth agenda and Socio-economic reform (in particular economic reform and energy). The GP aims to fast-track economic convergence and facilitate the integration of the country into the European Union. This action directly targets economic reform and energy sustainability, aligning with the thematic priorities of the call. By creating a comprehensive M&E framework and innovative tools for monitoring these sectors, the project ensures effective oversight and transparency in implementing these critical reforms.
