GREEN THINKING FOR GREENER COMMUNITY

The main goal of this action is to increase knowledge and awareness of pupils and students in Montenegro about environmental protection and climate change and build capacity of schools and universities for implementation of environment policies. Expected outputs of the project which are: (i) at least 3000 secondary school and university students and teachers informed and educated about the environment protection and climate change issues by different educational tools (10 videos and 1 promotion material) and events (student fair); (ii) capacities of schools and universities improved and cooperation established through establishment of climate change school clubs (14 clubs), carbon footprint calculation, development of action plan and at least 1 project proposals in each of 10 selected schools and universities; (iii) citizens in 10 Montenegrin municipalities informed about the environment protection and climate change issues as well as activities within the schools through promotion/public awareness events.
