TRAINING: "CSOs FOR A MORE INCLUSIVE, TRANSPARENT AND GREEN ECONOMIC REFORM PROGRAM"

We are inviting you to apply for the upcoming traning "CSOs for a more inclusive, transparent and green Economic Reform Program". 

The goal of this training is to involve CSOs in creating a more inclusive, transparent and green Economic Reform Program (ERP). ERP is one of the main documents in the process of Montenegro's accession to the European Union, and represents the basis for the country's dialogue with member states and EU institutions on issues of macroeconomic, fiscal and structural reforms. This document does not only concern the country's economic policy, but also includes a series of structural reforms that permeate almost all sectors. The European Commission and the Government of Montenegro recognized the lack of CSOs involvement when proposing, managing and monitoring ERP. Therefore, as part of these trainings, CSOs, which are not or are insufficiently familiar with this document, will learn about its structure and the role of each of the stakeholders in ERP. Also, through practical work, the ways in which CSOs at the local level can contribute to making this program and its measures meet the needs of CSOs and Montenegrin citizens, and at the same time to make them more inclusive, transparent and sustainable, will be presented.

The trainings will be held in six Montenegrin municipalities, according to the following schedule:
Cetinje on May 18 and 19, 2023;
Pljevlja, May 24 and 25, 2023;
Nikšić on June 1 and 2, 2023;
Ulcinj, June 5 and 6, 2023;
Berane July 3 and 4, 2023;
Kotor on July 10 and 11, 2023.

We will inform the participants about the venue of the training at a later date.
All civil society organizations that are registered in the above-mentioned municipalities can apply to attend the training, by delegating 1 or 2 representatives who are actively involved in the organization's work. Also, a certain number of places will be open to organizations from neighboring municipalities. Apart from CSOs, the call is open to all interested individuals, civil activists. A total of 10 participants per municipality will be selected.

For training in Pljevlja no later than May 20, 2023.
For training in Nikšić no later than May 29, 2023.
For training in Ulcinj no later than June 2, 2023.
For training in Berane no later than June 30, 2023.
For training in Kotor no later than July 7, 2023.

ISSP, as the organizer of the training, will provide materials, food and refreshments for the participants of the training. Accommodation will be provided to a limited number of participants, who come from neighboring municipalities. Transportation costs will be reimbursed in the amount of the bus tickets that the participants submit for inspection and in the amount of fuel costs.
