SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION OF THE TRAINING FOR YOUNG NEETS IN BIJELO POLJE

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the training for young NEETs in Bijelo Polje, which brought together 20 young people from Bijelo Polje and Kosovo. This training was just one of the many opportunities provided to young people as part of the Young NEETs: new opportunities for work and increased employability – “UNEETED” project, aimed at improving their social position and enhancing employability.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to express their problems and challenges in integrating into society, job searching, and accessing education and professional development. Discussions focused on various aspects of the labor market, current trends, and ways for young people to better prepare for employment.

The training participants expressed great satisfaction with the opportunity provided:

“This training has given me valuable knowledge and skills that will help me better prepare for the labor market. I also had the chance to connect with other young people and share our experiences and challenges,” said one participant from Bijelo Polje.

“Discussions on soft skills and labor market trends opened my eyes to new opportunities. I am grateful for this training and look forward to further activities within the project,” stated a participant from Kosovo.

The project runs from March 2023 to March 2025 and is supported by the EU IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Montenegro - Kosovo. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration. It is implemented in cooperation with the Institute for Development Policy (INDEP), the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, and the Municipality of Mojkovac.

We look forward to continuing the project and creating new opportunities that will contribute to the activation and inclusion of young NEETs in the labor market.
